When I took it into Lotus they said that it was there had a been a batch of dodgy dashboards and that they'd order me a new one as it was a known fault. In the meantime they disconnected the battery and on reconnection my original dash seemed to work

Yes it is Kawasaki lime green, not factory though, someone reversed into it in a carpark and the rear clam had to be replaced so we paid a bit extra and got the car resprayed completely

Mk1 Focus RS are the way forward. Thats what use and never broke one yet. Mind you my shafts are straidght and not having to deal with massive angles.
