Re: VHPD Emerald map files wanted
As you say, the emerald does not really use MAP but it may be indicating a problem. What Is the reading with the engine stopped, it should be about 101kPa (I think)? If you have a massive leak the engine would not idle. Much more likely is the sensor calibration is wrong, which does not matter if it...

Re: VHPD Emerald map files wanted
I’m not sure why the maps I sent you have such a low target speed for the iacv. There is no way my VHPD can idle at 800rpm, 1150 is more like it. Tbh, when I looked at the maps there were a few things that did not look right. I think the basic fuel and ignition are ok.

Re: S1 Wheels - What are the available options?
There was so also Compomotive M0 wheels for the s1, I had set. Heavy but no longer made. I think the revolutions are the only ones you can get easily at a sensible price, £700ish a set.

Re: VHPD Emerald map files wanted
It was mapped by Dynotech in Ripley Derbyshire. The guy who runs the dyno appeared to know his stuff and makes his own ecus.

Re: S1 Wheels - What are the available options?
Revolution wheels make them with the near enough correct offset and pcd. No idea if they are any good, they can’t be heavier than the Rimstocks. I think TMRs are very rare and expensive.

Re: VHPD Emerald map files wanted
You have my map(s) now. Enjoy. I had a quick look at the maps and I would play around with the three choices. I think the maps are the same but I was messing about trying to get good idle control over temp/pressure/loads and gave up. Map 1 is fully open loop and does not use the IACV or ignition adv...

Re: VHPD Emerald map files wanted
I’ll send it tomorrow. Use map 1. That was done on the rollers. My car did make 187hp, if you believe the dyno! I never managed to get my car through the Mot with the map but it did run ok once warm with all accessories off. My car has the iacv so it is used that for idle control (and ignition advan...

Re: VHPD Emerald map files wanted
I have got one from my 190 with verniers(otherwise std). It never worked very well but you are welcome to it. PM me your email and I’ll send it over. You may have better luck than me. I went back to the std ecu, much better.

Re: S1 Exige Conversion
The pain in the a.. is that the dashboard panel was painted with Senotex paint and as far as I know the only one that still has it is Elise Shop... Kind regards I have not tried this but I read somewhere that Morso paint for wood burners is pretty similar, it’s grey, matte and even called Senotherm!
