Never seen a disc crack like that - hairline cracks, yes. Guess they have been heat-cycled a few times?

If it helps....there are battery terminals under the passenger side front access panel. I used an accumate charger which came with a pigtail lead which I connected to the terminals and the sealed connector on the pigtail pokes out of the access panel at the bottom of the windscreen. The 12v socket will only work if its live with the car switched off, and I'm not sure it is? Yes, it is in #138.
