Yes if the standard pump is in fine fettle, But for the cost of a denso uprated pump is it worth the risk?

I tried a lot of baffled sumps and then had pro-alloy make mine with all the ideas i liked from the ones i had seen/tried. Tom at datum helped with development

Me, a toss up between converting from 220bhp to 260bhp, or, new wheels, long roof scoop and bodywork tweaks.
You could do a 260 and a set of wheels st £3000 (with careful shopping)

Yes its been done a few times, Its not a direct fit and the new lever needs some careful mods, but doable by skilled hands
Why not the other place(s)?
TLF and Seloc have a massive following with some very very knowledgeable people...........

Speak to Tom at Datum Motorsport. Done LOTS of 2ZZ engines for race and road use
Just rebuilt one for me that I had in my white exige that broke the timing chain (Spare now for the yellow peril)

Wasnt it 260ps or 257 bhp??
If so, thats very very close to the expected 218 bhp 15% losses
