Re: Winter tyres

Couldn't believe the difference winter tyres make when I first bought a set living in Birmingham in 2010 ish, when it snowed for weeks on end. Now wouldn't think about a winter without them. You do get Mr Angry, of Offended, flashing lots when you overtake him though!! Worth it for that alone! Momen...

Re: Exige S1 won't start, no spark - new engine

I understand that there are two coils in the pack, so, are the two outer conns just providing the - ve ? Yes These are from the ecu No 29 and 49. (These two connectors come from the ecu whic...

6 & 16 go at the top of the front clamshell in the door shut under the top mounting bolt.
7 goes on the front of the door by the mirror, before the door is painted. Its to help stop the 2 halves of the door coming apart after being bonded together.

Re: Anyone know where to get a VHPD ECU tested?

Check the idle air control valve mount, if still fitted. They are know to break, then the IACV moves around and the wire to the plug touches the gearbox casing, eventually wearing through the insulation and blowing various fuses.

That's a standard pulley. The 190 pulley had a third slot machined into it.

Not to say that it hasn't been modified another way, either offset dowels that DVA used to make or cam drilling made to suit the different timing.

Re: Jonny's S1 Exige Thread. Again!

This is almost a time lapse restoration with that many pictures flooding in. I really appreciate it because your picture are a kind of documentation or reference of how an Exige S1 initially looked. I already discovered some details I didn't knew because there were changed or missing on my car. Kee...
