Re: best paint protection film to get?

Before you take anything off, try some brake cleaner and elbow grease on what you already have. It won't remove the yellow, but will take off the rest of the dirt/rubber marks. May make it more bearable before you go for new.

Re: Strong fuel smell

If you're going to drop the fuel tank out to check for fuel leaks, have a really good look at the brake pipes that run through where the tank lives. They have a habit of corroding where they are in the pipe support. If in doubt, change them as it sucks taking it out again the following week!!

Re: Not Exiges content, but Audi

So as my AMG ownership comes to a close (for now) I've totted up the average MPG.... 16.8 Went from £300 a year to tax and sub 30 mpg. Now free to tax and plus 55 mpg. It's great 364 days a year. Not so good at chasing you guys through the Evo triangle though!! Everything got a little toasty! But s...

Re: Anyone used The UK Lotus Centre?

Used them, as used to be a couple of miles from them. Rocky gets some bad press, so a couple of caveats. I wouldn't buy a car from there. I wouldn't buy anything mail order. If you are walking in, know what you are looking for - as in really, really know - and know it's value, then you should be OK....

Re: Help needed

1. You can do either. But the a/c condenser and oil cooler pipes are normally seized to the coolers. If you are just changing the radiator, then there is a way to leave the a/c rad in place. You need to cut a couple of holes in the rad surround, but not the end of the world. It's much, much cheaper ...

Re: brake pipe rubbing

Cynic mode on. Your brake pipe has taken a beating when your gearbox has been removed/refitted? Add some coloured paint to see if this reoccurs for your next track day?

Or go ooop centralish - and support Wasps!?!! At least it would be the right code!!!
