Re: Hi all,

Welcome aboard, keep us posted .I'm lucky that so far, after 13 years, I have never suffered the apparently perenial problem of fuel smell. And I love the smell of petrol. Hopefully that should say 'perennial'...cos a smell of petrol from the perineum would be most concerning, no matter how much yo...

Re: Hi all,

Welcome indeed! Fuel smell - the S1 had a recall ages ago for the breather. I guess it's possible yours may have been missed? Either Lotus or a dealer should be able to check from your reg or VIN. Speedo - wheel speed sensor, wiring or plug are most likely culprits. www.deroure.com is a good source ...

Re: New theme for Exiges.com

I'd skimmed through this thread and the idea didn't really make much impact on me. If anything my response to the idea was slightly negative as, too often, website 'updates' go hand-in-hand with problems finding stuff, working out what new buttons are for, etc. I came on here this morning as normal ...

That gave me a morning chuckle over the irony of it
Quite..my personal 'foot-mouth' interface was rather crammed when the realisation dawned! However I felt it best to leave unedited as a shining example to all

Re: Noble V S1 No Contest

I admit, I don't post often on here. When I do, I try to keep my posts relevant to the subject. Generally this seems to be the case on exiges, where other forums tend to have far more 'chatter' and thread creep. Is it better to have a lower count but remain a repository for relevant information or t...

Re: Door rubber strips.

Are these the same seals that someone on MLOC has been investigating getting made?

Price there was around £150 per pair Inc postage.

Re: Exige S2 with added supercharger

Go for the 6000k LED battens as these give a much 'whiter' light that's excellent for working in.

On that note, battens are much easier to install than converting fluorescent tube fittings - just 2 wires rather than having to remove starters, run new wires inside. etc.
