That's a very good point Willevo_ufo wrote:Done, thanks Ben. I'd go most places that would let the car on.
Noise could become an issue at other circuits, Anglesey seems to be noise tolerant.
My only gripe is the second driver/pasenger charges (Not that it should bother me!!!!!)
Great response so far guys with 29 responses.
For those new to the forum or never been to an exiges.com trackday then please fill in the survey as we'd all love to see more cars and some new faces. Sure lots of us know each other but that's because we pitched up at these events over the years and found that Exige ownership seems to attract like-minded guys and gals. I do a lot of trackdays but the annual exiges day is ALWAYS a highlight of the year, it never disappoints. Some have accused this forum and by association this event of being 'clicky',...its honestly not, but you do need to pitch up for yourself to find that out. Don't be shy!!!
Just to pick up on a few of the comments :
Who the event is open to :
With BaT we have a whitelist that I administer so only people that have attended before or that I add, can book the event. Anyone who asks on the board for me to add them gets added. Whichever TDO we use needs to have a similar facility. I try and get the event listed in November giving about 5months to get it booked. Last year the event sold out after 3months. I'm therefore pretty happy that no genuine exiger who wants to attend should miss out, but you do have to pull yer finger out and book it.
What cars we have on circuit :
This is an event for exiges.com. The forum does not mandate that you currently own an exige. This means that we end up with predominantly Exiges but yes some other Lotus models as well as Clios, Radicals, other track cars and perhaps the odd Caterham or two
As long everyone, irrespective of their steed, adheres to the spirit of the event (in the exceptionally high driving-standards we all expect) and are part of our extended community then in my view, it's all good. If they don't then its incumbent on any one of us to let the me or the TDO know about it. Right now I'd reckon we'll have a few Clios since Ade now has one, Porkie (ex S2 owner has one) and Steve (Ade's mate who has attended the event many many times before) has one. I certainly plan to bring my Caterham as will some others I'm guessing...
Like I said, its a community event so if you have strong views about the above or anything else then post here or pm me

Thanks Tim and for all the others that offered to help. In reality it does not take too much organising, someone just needs to take the lead getting a date/venue/TDO organised. I'm happy to do it but want it to be representative of what our community wants to do (thus the survey).Muu wrote: Lemme know if you need a hand with logistics.
Yup very good point. This is a big positive for Anglesey and why other circuit choices may simply not work for us.seriouslylotus wrote:That's a very good point Willevo_ufo wrote:Done, thanks Ben. I'd go most places that would let the car on.

There's two things in here,..who the event is open to and what cars we have on circuit.S1Exige wrote:Put the other crap on the reserves list, some Exiges lost out this year.661 wrote:Where was the bit about banning Clios?
