The Gearbox is back from been checked over by my gearbox man, Morris. He has checked the bearing and gear sets and said only minimal wear, so a clean bill of health. What he did say was if i get another box he will build me one to whatever spec i want for a few £100.

Some may hate it but i have painted the gearbox casing as i hate the corrosion alloy brings.

Now just awaiting my new clutch kit

Going to put my existing one back on, after taking advice and looking at all options i dont want to takeaway any of the road characteristics. I just hope i have not gone too far with the ceramic clutch and i am told this type will be fine for road use and not squeal. However i can just get the a organic plate separately if so desired and swop.

Yeah fair enough. I had a 'segmented' clutch (or whatever they're called) on my Subaru and it was a bit grabby at first but I soon got used to it.
